Hello,

We are Jeff and Janet Johnson and this is our story. In 2008 as we stepped over the bridge to a quaint dairy farm, advertising FOR SALE, an immediate feeling came over us and we knew this was a very exceptional one- of- a- kind spot, so we "bought the farm" from Richard and Kathy Stocker and built our new home here. Over the years the idea of a place for family gatherings kept visiting my mind's eye.  I suppose I came by this rightly because my great, great, grandfather Mark Lindsey on my mother's side, built the first park west of the Mississippi in SLC Utah called Lindsey Gardens and my great, great, grandfather Rudoulf Knudsen on my father's side, built Knudsen Grove at the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon in SLC Utah in 1912. The legacy remains today with Lindsey Garden Park and Knudsen Park still welcoming families and friends.  I've known I needed to keep this family trait and build this for a long time.

I have fond memories of  playing volleyball, eating fresh corn on the cob, watermelon seed spitting and ending the hot summer day with a water fight at the Knudsen family corner.  If it weren't for this gathering place and time set aside to enjoy our extended family I would not know my own kin.

We have 9 grandchildren with the potential for more and we love, love, love it when they come to spend time with us here in this place of peace. We both enjoy being outside and seeing our "work in progress" grow. We've designed two homes, finished two basements,  two green houses, one bunkhouse, chicken runs, fire pits, horse corals, garden plots, the pond, developed acres of ground, and go figure.... we're still married. There'll be some very funny videos on our YouTube channel that when I figure how to link them I will.

We are extremely grateful to Turner Carpentry for catching our vision and seeing it through to the end. Their excellent skills, and professional ethics were amazing! Dave and Nick got to know my personality and taste and had great suggestions that fit right in. There are many more who helped make our vision come true so look for our thank you page for super contributors.

As a family we hope you make the time to stop and enjoy your children, grandchildren and loved ones. You'll have all that you need right here to make memories that last a lifetime.  Remember Love Blooms Here.
